Microsoft Foundry Routines reached GA, adding managed timer, recurring and event-based triggers for hosted agents, with initial GitHub issue and Teams-message events, execution history, and selectable creator or agent identity. The accompanying reminder tool remains in preview and lets an agent resume work on the same conversation after a delay. This moves scheduling, event delivery and audit plumbing into the managed agent service. Microsoft Foundry preview added outbound network-egress policies for hosted agents, separating destination allow/deny rules from tool code and supporting Audit then Enforced modes. It is explicitly a development/evaluation preview with no SLA and not intended for production yet; important because tool permissions alone do not constrain where arbitrary runtime requests can go.
