GitHub Copilot for JetBrains v1.15 shipped persistent Copilot memory across chat sessions, Ollama as a BYOK provider, expanded enterprise-managed settings, Codex session visibility in debug logs, and automatic Copilot CLI install from integrated terminals. The Reddit thread is basically a wrapper on the release notes, but it confirms the enterprise/local-model angle is already getting attention. GitHub Copilot CLI
v1.0.79is the most meaningful harness update this pass: it adds enterprise allow-auto-only policy support, proxy enforcement for managed sandbox policy, worktreeBaseRef, Kimi K3 support,/plan+ autopilot chaining, andtgrepfor large monorepo search. The repo itself still has visible traction, with about 1.9k forks shown on GitHub. Sources: https://github.com/github/copilot-cli/releases ; https://github.com/github/copilot-cli -
GitHub Enterprise Server 3.22 is now in release candidate, and the standout agentic change is technical preview support for Copilot CLI in disconnected or air-gapped environments. GHES can host the model provider once, then let users run Copilot CLI with GHES credentials inside that boundary, which is a real enterprise-deployment signal rather than a demo feature.
