Microsoft Agent Framework published a fresh “Agent Harness: Working with your data, safely” post today. The practical update is that the harness now bundles file access, explicit approvals for risky actions, and durable memory, with local file access constrained to a configurable root folder and generated code still sandboxed via Hyperlight. Microsoft published the Data-and-Agent-Governance-and-Security-Accelerator repo, a new governance automation starter for Purview DSPM for AI, Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Foundry, Fabric, and M365 Copilot. It is still early, but the repo is official, active, and meant for repeatable audit/compliance workflows rather than a toy sample.
